This is a compilation of tid bits of my life. I thought that I would share them with the world. Hopefully, I'm not too silly for anyone but if you stick with me I'm sure you'll enjoy my adventures just as much as I do.

Can this apply to my brain today?
I saw this, this morning and I wondered if I could get away with telling my professors that my brain was the item under that trash bag and that the sign clearly stated not to use it. Unfortunately, I didn't experiment with this idea and went about my day as if nothing were out of the ordinary at all.

C'est la vie
Hello to all of you out there who may or may not actually be reading this blog!
I've decided to make this just a tad more interesting and starting today I'm going to have a Photo Diary sort of thing going on.
Today's Photo is:
I made this mask at La Fete de Mardi Gras at La Maison Francaise, or for those of you without a French inclination, I made it at the Mardi Gras party at the French House. I had a good time with my friends, talking over some amazing jumbalia and jazz music. It made me really happy to let go a little and be silly with friends.
In other news, I have this week's mile count of how far I went excercising and I must say that the total is significantly larger than last week.
Monday: 8 miles
Tuesday: 10 miles
Wednesday: 4 miles
Thursday: 11.5 miles
Friday: 3 miles

For a grand total of:
36.5 miles
Yeah I know that's like a ton and a half but it has paid off. It's been two weeks and I've lost about ten pounds, which I'm pretty proud to announce.
Continuing the good news for this week, I got a phone call Thursday from a summer job prospect and I was given a position!!
So starting in June and heading on into August, I'll be in Portland, Maine at Camp Pinecliff. It's a sort of upscale camp for girls from 3rd grade up through high school. They stay there the whole summer and so will I with a day or two off every week depending. My position is called a Cliff Counseler and I'll be in charge of the first year girls in 3rd and 4th grades. Basically, I get to hang out and have fun with a bunch of girls all summer and get paid to do it! On top of that I'll be in a place I've never been before and I get to do some more exploring and have more awesome adventures!
Let's see, what else can I add?
Spring Break is at the end of this next week and I'm headed home for a week. March 3rd through the 11th I'll be hanging out in Farwell, getting some completely exciting fillings done and probably taking some classes through the Red Cross for First Aid and CPR for the summer camp. Mom and I are probably going to go shopping one of those days and I'm hoping to drag Rubes with us because I haven't seen that girl since Christmas break. I haven't seen Cassi either but she's headed to Tennesse on a mission trip that week. I'm sure that she'll have a good time and we'll get together when we can.
I can't think of anything else at the moment.
Questions, comments, and motivation are welcome in the comment tab below.
I'd love to hear from you!
and
as always,
Blessed Be

I'll make a runner out of me yet....
Hey guys!
Just thought it was about time to update again. Things have been.....well, they've really just been...
I've been running, on a tredmill but at least I'm doing something. I just thought I should share my total with you even though it's Thursday. Tomorrow instead of running I'm going to a Zumba thing that last 3 hours.....it should be interesting.
So here it goes,
Monday: 3.5 miles running (I did a lot more walking than I thought I would)
Tuesday: 7.5 miles running and biking
Wednesday: 7 miles running and on the cross-trainer (I was so sore that I didn't want to move)
Thursday: 10 miles running and biking
Tomorrow I do this Zumba based thing that runs from 4-7 and should make me nearly die but I'm sure it will be worth it because I'm doing it with a friend.
Saturday, there's a Salsa band playing up town at a club named Clazel and entrance is free so I'm planning to go to that too just to keep moving.
I completely plan to keep this pattern too, so I don't want to hear any "you better keep this up" stuff. To be completely blunt. What I need right now to keep this up is some support. Tell me that you're proud but don't knock me off this high I'm feeling because none of us will like how far I fall.
Sorry if that sounded mean but I'm not sure I can handle too much right now. I'm actually going to the gym to let go of some of the stress of my life and the bottling of it. To be completly honest with all of you who are reading this, I really haven't been the greatest for a while lately. I've been really down and lonely, with little problems that have been nearly pushing me to the point of insanity. I'm handling it the best way I know how to though and I'll make it through this low patch to a high sooner or later.
So yeah, support is appreciated.
On a good note, Spring Break is in two weeks!
I'll be headed north to home for the week to hang out with family and friends. I really want to get to a Delightfuls concert for the release of their new cd on Friday March 2nd but I don't know if I can make it yet because possibly have class until 4:30 that day.
I can't believe I've come to the middle of the semester. It seems like I've just begun and now everything is rolling faster and faster. It's a little scary.
I'm signed up for three online summer classes that last for 6 weeks and I have a lead on a summer job but I'll elaborate on that when things are more concrete. I still plan to umpire for as long as I can and if worse comes to worse I stay with the supermarket where I'm currently employeed.
Well, I guess that's about all I have this time.
Feel free to leave me a comment below. I appreciate all the support I can get.
Negative Nancys can disregard the above statement because I won't deal with any of it.
Hasta Pronto!
Blessed Be

Crepe Success
Hey guys I'm back again!
I just thought I'd give a rundown of what happened this week because I did some pretty cool stuff and I'm a little bored today after doing all my homework in a matter of hours....Yeah, I'm on top of it.
Anyway, this was my first week without a roommate and having a room to myself....man is it nice. I actually get stuff done and I can sleet at night without having someone trying to get me to party with her all night. I can get up in the mornings which is an unfortunate consequence of classes at 8 am but I'm not really complaining because it means that I get done with classes earlier so it's cool.
So Monday I dropped my french class on paper. I'm still sitting in on it but I won't be getting credit for it. The reason for this change is because Bowling Green wanted to charge me $600 for the last added class. Apparently you are charged $200 for every credit over 18....The prof was cool about having me sit in. In fact, he asked me to do so before I could ask him about it. So that was cool and made me pretty happy.
On Thursday, I went to a workshop about building a resume that focused on language and experience abroad skills. It was really awesome and I think that I'll have a really awesome resume after I'm done editing it.
Also, I went to a party at the French House that celebrated Chandeleur, a night of making crepes and eating said crepes. It was awesome and oh so yummy. On top of that awesomeness, I FLIPPED A CREPE WITHOUT A SPATULA IN ONE TRY!!
I was super proud of myself.
Friday I did a whole lot of nothing and I was really productive today (Saturday) by getting all of my homework done within a matter of hours and now I'm just watching some television, writing a little and eating cheese and Triscuits.
Tuesday (7th) is the full moon and you know what they say about that so, who knows, maybe I'll have some fun stories to tell next weekend....
So until then,
Blessed Be!
