Hello to all my wonderful, beautiful followers out there!
I'm on spring break!
I'm so cold though. Michigan and its snow are making me shiver.
Mom and I drove up from Ohio in a snow storm Friday and I got to go to a small show in Clare, featuring The Delightfuls and their new album. It was awesome.
But before that,
Last week I got in 28 miles and lost another 5 pounds.
I only ran three days because I was busy with midterm exams but when I did go I was pushing myself to go as far and as fast as I could. It helps me keep my mind off of all the things that I could have to worry about. Anyway, here was this week's count
Monday: 9.5 miles
Thursday: 9 miles
Friday: 9.5 miles
Saturday, I sat around like a lump, enjoying my down time and yesterday (Sunday) Sara came over to spend some time with the family and me. I think we had a good time even though it wasn't much. We made cookies, gave Jenny a bath, went into town on a random whim, and watched a movie.
Today, I got up and made an ommelette with lots of stuff in it. Let's see, there was one potato, chopped and fried, there was bits of ham and a meatball leftover from dinner last night, part of an onion, diced, and two chopped mushrooms apart from the three eggs and the two slices of cheese that I regretted putting on afterward.
I did some stuff around the house this morning and then by noon, I had to get out and move so I took Jenny for a two mile walk in the snow. Now, I'm trying to get warm, under a blanket, waiting on the rest of the family to get home, with a puppy dog curled in a ball on the chair next to me.
I think I'll make myself some chai. That should warm me up.
Until next time,
Blessed Be!

BECCA!!! I'm so proud of you! When I get back from Spain and get back into the groove of things, I'm gonna start running as well. But I always think that anyone who just starts won't keep it up. But you are kicking ass!!! Keep it up! Cuz I'm using you as a role model :)
